丹·布朗最新小说《失落的符号》将于9月15日由美国兰登书屋出版，首印500万册，创兰登书屋历史最高纪录。
一直担任丹·布朗编辑的 Jason Kaufman表示：“小说的开场无与伦比……《失落的符号》充满惊奇。”《失落的符号》将继续丹·布朗以往故事中的男主角罗伯特·兰登的故事，有评论 称：“《失落的符号》是一部辉煌和极具吸引力的作品，丹·布朗讲故事的天赋，他丰富的历史学知识、密码学知识以及吊人胃口的才能都在书中展露无余。这是一 部近来出版史上最令人期待的作品。”“这部小说如同一场奇妙而精彩的旅行”，丹·布朗认为，“把5年的研究成果编织进一个发生在12小时内的故事里，这是 个令人兴奋的挑战。”
